Frida Kahlo

Frida Kahlo was born in Mexico City. Frida had lifelong health issues and suffered from an accident in a bus when she was a teenager. She spent a long time in the hospital after the accident and loved to paint and draw in her time there. The accident was very bad and caused her not to be able to have any children. She was born on July 6, 1907 and died on July 13, 1954. She only lived to forty seven.

This is one of her paintings. Painting was her career. Frida was married to Diego Rivera and they ended up divorcing and remarrying. They had other affairs while they were married. Diego had an affair with Frida’s sister and she was very upset about it. Even though they had multiple other relationships, they both knew about the other person’s affairs and didn’t really do anything about it.
